Kilmarnock Retail Trades Association is one of the oldest of its kind in Scotland. In recent years our membership has grown considerably with many retailers and businesses taking advantage of the many benefit on offer and adding their voices to our campaigns.
By working closely with East Ayrshire Council and other bodies, KRTA’s mission is to maximise Kilmarnock's potential as a shopping destination, and we are involved in many projects and marketing initiatives such as the town Christmas celebrations and developing this website. We also liaise with EAC on matters impacting on the town such as traffic, parking, employment and events, and work together on key issues facing retailers.
All of our members work in Kilmarnock. Many live here too, and many are Kilmarnock born and bred. The health and wealth of Kilmarnock town centre and retail environment is our passion. If you own or manage a shop in Kilmarnock or a town centre business, please email us here or download an application form to find out how you can join KRTA and help shape Kilmarnock's future.
