The Florist Paper Rose's is moving from 100 John Finnie Street to 72 John Finnie Street. Evelyn hopes to welcome New and Old customers to her new premises from Wednesday 1st July 2009 and will continue to offer the same Local, National and International flower delivery service.

The Candy Express Sweet Shop has just opened in the Burn's Mall offering a pick & mix selection of sweets plus Candy Floss. Core, a fashion shop, has opened at The Cross. Another fashion shop, Unique has also opened in King Street (not to be confused with the original Unique Gent's Outfitters shop in Bank Street). A new dental practice has opened in Portland Gate, with the Under £5 Gift Shop next door.

The Pet Shop in The Foregate is moving to Portland Gate temporarily while work is carried out on extending and refurbishing their Foregate premises. Watch this space to find out when the new bigger and better Pet Shop re-opens.
